This week sees several Music and Effects projects hit the big screen.

Bob Connolly and Sophie Raymond’s “Mrs Carey’s Concert” opened the Biennial Adelaide Film Festival last Thursday to great acclaim. This inspiring project was sound edited and mixed by Doron Kipen, M&E’s principal mixer.

Shaun Tan’s beautiful Oscar winning “The Lost Thing” was mixed by Doron Kipen with Sound Design by John Kassab. Also, after a year on the festival circuit, Ben Lucas’ “Wasted on the Young” will be released on March the 3rd. After gaining much attention on the international stage there is an air of anticipation about this extraordinary project. The Sound Designer was Jed Palmer and the mixer, Doron Kipen.
