With a reconfigured mashup of the producing and screen business student course, AFTRS is looking for a new round of students. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on your bureaucratic mindset, the searchers are John Maynard and David Court.

David Court, executive producer, teacher and analyst, has been running the Centre for Screen Business at AFTRS, and specialising in hard-core analytical units which demystify the business side of the trade. John Maynard, the determined producer and distributor has just taken over as Head of Producing. His own producing credits extend back from Balibo, Romulus, My Father, Three Dollars, The Bank and The Boys to Angel at My Table and The Navigator: A Mediaeval Odyssey in New Zealand.
