SPAA announced today the launch of a new initiative from Cartoon Network: SNAPTOONS Australia at this year’s conference to be held from 16 to 19 November at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney.
SNAPTOONS Australia is designed to provide a leg up to local Aussie talent and offers local producers the chance to pitch for a $15,000 grant towards development of a pilot episode. Participants should submit proposals for production that target kids 5-12 years, focused on content delivered from an animated perspective. Concepts can be drawn from animation or live action, across both short and long-form offerings.
