RomCom Comp Climax: take a bow, Graeme Charles Simsion

The Australian Writers’ Guild and Inscription are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2010 RomCom Script Competition is AWG Associate member Graeme Charles Simsion.

Graeme’s romantic comedy The Rosie Project was selected from an overwhelming number of entries and he now has the once in a lifetime opportunity to develop his project with two of the world’s leading romantic comedy gurus, Michael Hauge and Steven Kaplan. Graeme will participate in a two and a half day Master class with Kaplan and Hauge and will then have a number of one on one sessions with the pair to develop his script. He will also attend one of the two day Art of Romantic Comedy seminars to be held in Sydney and Melbourne in June. The total prize is worth $8,800 however the value of the opportunity Graeme has been given is literally priceless.
