Bloody Footy, a short comedy film directed by Queensland based Dean Chircop and produced by Defrim Isai has won two major awards at the Cairo International Film Festival for Children.

The film picked up a “Silver Cairo” for Best Short from the International Jury headed by Troma founder Lloyd Kaufman and a “Gold Cairo” for Best Film from the International Children’s Jury.
