AFTRS goes for television expert as it appoints Catherine Millar the new head of directing.
Catherine Millar whose work includes mini-series, telemovies and numerous local and international television series and TVCs, has been appointed Head of Directing at Australia’s leading national Film, Television and Radio School, AFTRS.
Millar, herself a directing graduate of AFTRS, said she is “thrilled to be joining the students and staff at AFTRS, especially at a time when the industry is rapidly changing and the school is re-equipping itself to meet those challenges.
