In Monday’s ‘Company Announcements’ we included an item about the South Australian Screen Industry Council’s forthcoming Forum.
While the SAFC (along with Arts SA and the SA Department of Premier and Cabinet) have provided financial assistance towards running the Forum, it is important to emphasise that the Forum itself is independent of government. Indeed, the Forum’s raison d’etre is to provide industry members with an opportunity to contribute to an in-depth discussion of current issues, challenges and policy directions and to relay the outcomes of these discussions in a unified voice to government and other stakeholders.
