The Federal Government announced today the outcomes from its Review of Australian Government Film Funding Support. The Australian Film Commission (AFC) welcomes the results of the review, in particular the announcement of a new producer rebate and an increased location rebate.
“The Government has responded strongly to the need to increase the volume of production,” said AFC Chair Maureen Barron. “The new rebate is a significant new support measure to stimulate higher levels of investment in the industry.”
