One screenwriter, Gordon Napier, has made it through to the final four of the reality-TV series Project Greenlight for the second year in a row. He is the first contestant in the history of the competition to endure the excitement of back-to-back appearances in the final four.
Project Greenlight is the brainchild of Hollywood A-listers, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, who, in 2000, teamed up with “American Pie” producer Chris Moore and Miramax Television to create a new reality-TV series. Their idea: To give aspiring American screenwriters the chance to compete for their big break, the winner receiving $1million to turn their screenplay into a Hollywood feature film.
