As the announcements about the awards season start to come in, the Film Critics Circle hoists an early flag. They have nobbled Adam Elliott as the presenter, who will have to wander only a few streets from his paparazzi haunted St Kilda mansion to the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron.

Academy Award winning filmmaker, Adam Elliot, will host the 2006 FCCA Awards for Australian Film, it was announced today by the Film Critics Circle of Australia (FCCA). The event will be held on Saturday 28 October with a gala dinner presentation at the Royal Melbourne Yacht Club.
