A ten minute short film written and directed by 2004 Victorian College of the Arts, Film and Television School Graduate Marion Lee for her Honours degree is to be screened at two major film festivals – the prestigious Telluride in Colorado, USA in September and the London Film Festival in October.
Acceptance of the film, Pirate, for Telluride is considered a major achievement. It is the most difficult of festivals to crack, doesn’t announce its program in advance – and even charges the press for a pass. The London Film Festival is Europe’s largest non-competitive film festival
