Film Australia is calling for nominations for the next recipient of the prestigious Stanley Hawes Award, recognising lasting contribution to the Australian documentary industry.
The Film Australia Stanley Hawes Award is for outstanding contribution to the documentary sector and recognises those that have either worked beyond the call of duty, had a significant impact on the sector or the craft, or have been a generous supporter of documentary filmmakers.
The recipient may be an exhibitor, distributor, teacher, lawyer, accountant, producer, director, editor, sound recordist, technician or any other member of the community without whom the Australian documentary industry would not be the same.
