ABC: McMullen signs for Difference of Opinion

Former 60 Minutes reporter Jeff McMullen is returning to the ABC for A Difference of Opinion, an issues/panel show aimed at being contentious and topical.

Jeff McMullen, former 60 Minutes reporter, author and human rights
activist will return to ABC TV to host a new program, A Difference of
Opinion in 2007.

A Difference of Opinion is a new 12 x 1hr forum program and aims to
tackle confronting issues of importance to Australians.

McMullen, who has had 35 years as one of Australia’s best known
reporters, started his journalism career with the ABC in 1966. His time
at the ABC included postings to Papua New Guinea, South Asia, and the
USA, where he was Four Corners’ first internationally-based reporter.
Jeff spent 12 years in the USA for ABC TV, working in both the New York and Washington bureaux.
