After what felt like an interminable summer break, enquiries from inbound productions are picking up again. With the completion of Avatar last year, it’s unlikely the airports will be as busy processing cast and crew in 2010 as last year, but there’s still good news out there.

The big picture here in 2010 is well-known and has been on the radar for some time. The Hobbit will start shooting on a date TBC, once all the shenanigans at MGM are sorted and half-ownership of the production is clarified. There’s little point speculating when, as it will happen when it happens.
