The New South Wales Film and Television Offices’s Digital Visual FX Scheme, which places talented digital artists in trainee jobs with some of NSW’s leading post production companies, has announced five successful applicants in the latest round.
Robert Baird, a concept/storyboard artist, has joined Rising Sun Pictures. Robert has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the National Art School combined with a Diploma of Screen in 3D Animation & Computer Graphics from digital media school Qantm College. He has exhibited his work in the Print Exchange Exhibition of Korea and Australia and received the 2006 Friends of National Art School Discipline Prize for printmaking.
