Maziar Bahari, a documentary filmmaker who was a guest at AIDC 2009, has come to grief in his home country of Iran.
Now a Canadian citizen, with a base in Toronto, he has been working mostly in Iran for the last decade. He was working for Newsweek and making a film covering the election. He was pulled from his bed at 7am on June 21st by security agents who refused to identify themselves.
