Humming happily in the ultimate glee club, the Screen Music Awards are back at the beginning in November in Sydney. There will be an orchestra! Musicians will SIT STILL AND BEHAVE THEMSELVES.

APRA and the ASGC are proud to announce details of the 2009 SCREEN MUSIC AWARDS, an annual event that celebrates the union in contemporary Australian screen culture of music and film.

Acknowledging excellence and innovation in the genre of screen composition, the awards are staged jointly by APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association) and AGSC (Australian Guild of Screen Composers). Now in its 8th year, this special black tie event will be held on MONDAY NOVEMBER 2ND at the illustrious City Recital Hall at Angel Place in Sydney.
