Musician Gotye appeals to Senator Conroy while SYN Media switches off for a day to raise awareness of funding cuts.


To give a taste of the future, SYN Media switched off its analogue and digital radio services for the whole day yesterday. A full day of campaigning online and on the streets of Melbourne preceded the switch-off. SYN Broadcaster and Producer, Brad Guy, dressed up as a dinosaur to lead the campaign, representing the possible extinction of community radio if the government does not address the shortfall in funding.
